On the back of the fantastic response to last year’s 'Panorama' exhibition, local photographer Kevin Rozario-Johnson will this year be hosting a special two part exhibition.
Still featuring his spectacular local and International photography which drew in the crowds last year, this year he has teamed up with an exceptionally talented illustrator to create a bold new collection…
8bitscapes
a window into the playful mind of a digital generation.
A unique collaboration of photography and illustration, a collaboration that explores the shared context of the physical and the digital worlds.
Photographer Kevin Rozario-Jonson and illustrator Jamie Sneddon, have chosen to indulge the passions of their trades by successfully blending and supposed 'artificial' with the supposed 'real'.
After bringing together these two art disciplines they have produced a series of 8 works which reference the iconic, nostalgic and often emotive strengths of digital forms amidst the cool reality and boundless beauty of the physical world.
In part using reference to the world of gaming, the '8-bitscapes'’ describe a shared context between the physical and the metaphysical and offers a window into the playful mind of a digital generation.
The result is bold, fun, affordable, pop art chic.
All work on display is available for purchase both off the wall and for bespoke orders.
This one is really “not to be missed!”
