Friday 1st June to Sunday 17th June, Adur will come alive with arts, music, exhibitions, taster sessions, walks, performances and lots of other activities
for the whole family.
To mark 25 years of the Adur Festival and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, two marquees full of events will launch this year’s celebrations. The marquees on Shoreham Beach Green and Lancing Beach Green, have an exciting line-up of things to do including a Tea Dance with local musician Herbie Flowers, a Bank holiday market, a Family fun day, the Beach Boogie and BBQ, not forgetting the launch night event in Shoreham with ABBA Sensation.
Over the years many events have found their home during the Adur Festival. In 2012 many of these popular events will return to Adur, including World Oceans Day, the Adur Art Trail, Beach Dreams, the Donkey Derby, Adur Indoor Bowling Club Open Days, Sompting Festival and Lancing Carnival.
The festival really does have something for everyone, the young and the young at heart. Check out the events listings to get some dates in your social calendar during the first two weeks of June, and we’ll see you there!
